Inherited or Imputed Sins
Translated by H. F. Talbot (Records of the Past, 1870s; repr. 1901) · From Babylonian and Assyrian Literature (1901)
Religion
The mamit for him reveal! The mamit for him unfold!
Against the evil spirit, disturber of his body!
Whether it be the sin of his father:
or whether it be the sin of his mother:
or whether it be the sin of his elder brother:
or whether it be the sin of someone who is unknown!
