Living
A Lullaby
Translated by Isaac Taylor Headland (1900) · From Chinese Mother Goose Rhymes (1900)
Living
The heaven is bright,
The earth is bright,
I have a baby who cries all night;
Let those who pass read what I write,
And they'll sleep all night,
Till broad daylight.
