Mythology & Folklore
St. Thomas's-day is past and gone
From The Nursery Rhymes of England, collected by J. O. Halliwell (London: Warne; first ed. 1842; this printing 1886)
Mythology & Folklore
St. Thomas's-day is past and gone,
And Christmas is a-most a-come,
Maidens arise,
And make your pies,
And save poor tailor Bobby some.
