Love
The Silent Talkers
From Lyric Poems, Made in Imitation of the Italians (1687)
Love
PEACE, Peace, my Dear, Corinna said
To her enamour'd Corydon,
Lest we by Listners be betray'd,
And this our Happiness undone.
Our wishes answer ev'ry way,
And all my Thoughts center in thine;
If thou hast any thing to say,
Speak with thy Eyes, I'll speak with mine.
