Prosperity perilous
From Two Bookes of Epigrammes, and Epitaphs (1639), Book II
Social Commentaries

Fell under wounds upon Mount Gilboa;

Well may we feare a downfall and decay:
For honours Bubble, swelling ne're so high,
Breakes with a pricke, and out the winde must flye.
