The Life of Man
From Two Bookes of Epigrammes, and Epitaphs (1639), Book I
Social Commentaries

At Cards, and Fortune playes the same,
Packing a Queene up with a Knave,
Whilst all would winne, yet none doe save,
But loose themselves: for Death is it,
That lastly cuts, and makes his hit.
