Keepe off your Hatts
From Two Bookes of Epigrammes, and Epitaphs (1639), Book II
Social Commentaries
The Foure and twenty Elders did deject
Their Crownes before the Lambe: but yongsters owe
To the Worlds Saviour now so sleight respect,
As in his presence their bold heads to show
Vnseemely veyl'd. O wrong to Sanctity!
Done in the publicke view, yet covertly.
