Nature
A HILL
From Poetical Recreations (1688), Part I
Nature
OH that I cou'd Verses write,
That might express thy praise,
Or with my Pen ascend thy height;
I thence might hope to raise
My Verse upon Fame's soaring wing,
That it might so advance,
As with Apollo's Lyre to Sing,
And with the Spheres to Dance.
