Religion

PRaise ye the Lord, praise him, I say,
All ye his Saints profest:
Even from this day
For ever may
His glorious Name be blest.
From Sun to Sun is Gods great Name,
Of all men to be prais'd:
Surmounts his fame
The heavens frame,
Above all Nations rais'd.
With God the Lord who may compare,
Who dwells in heaven high:
Yet stoops to care
For things that are
Both in the earth and skie.
The poor and needy he doth grace,
Whom from the dust he brings:
And dung-hill base
To Princes place,
To sit inthron'd with Kings.
The barren to keep house makes he,
So that of children store,
A mother she
Full glad may be,
Praise ye the Lord therefore.
