Night and Diana charge
From Masque at the Marriage of the Lord Hayes (1607)
Mythology & Folklore
Night and Diana charge,
And th' Earth obeys,
Opening large
Her secret ways,
While Apollo's charmed men
Their forms receive again.
Give gracious Phoebus honour then,
And so fall down, and rest behind the train.
