Love
Supported now by clouds descend
From The Lords' Masque (1613)
Love
Supported now by clouds descend,
Divine Prometheus, Hymen's friend:
Lead down the new transformed fires
And fill their breasts with love's desires,
That they may revel with delight,
And celebrate this nuptial night.
So celebrate this nuptial night
That all which see may say
They never viewed so fair a sight
Even on the clearest day.
