Epigram on Lord G—
From The Hills of Hybla (London, 1767)
Social Commentaries
My Lord has often said, he scorns
The wretch who'd fain conceal his horns,
And, from his heart, quite full of glee,
He wish'd all cuckolds in the sea.
A merry wag (pleas'd with the whim)
Reply'd, my Lord, Pray can you swim?
