Epigram 41. To Mr. Thomas Bancroft
From A Chain of Golden Poems (1658)
Relationships
Sir, in your Epigrams you did me grace
T'allow me 'mong your many Friends a Place:
T'express my gratitude (if Time will be
After my death so courteous to me,
As to vouchsafe some few years to my name)
Freely enjoy with me my utmost Fame.
