Love

Cherries

by William Drummond of Hawthornden 1585–1649

Love

MY Wanton weep no more
The losing of your Cherries,
Those, and far sweeter Berries,
Your Sister in good store
Hath in her Lips and Face,
Be glad, kisse her with me, and hold your peace.
