Love
Forsaking
From Underneath the Bough (1898)
Love
Have you seen the olives at set of sun,
How their fiery maze.
That tossed him his sparkles, snatched his rays.
Becomes a region of limitless grays.
Dead, bough on bough.
For lack of the sun?
Love, this is how
Living would be if thy life were ran:
Leave me not, thou!
