Hitherto the Lord hath helped us,
Guiding all the way ;
Henceforth let us trust Him fully.
Trust Him all the day.
Hitherto the Lord hath loved us,
Caring for His own ;
Henceforth let us love Him better,
Live for Him alone.
Hitherto the Lord hath blessed us,
Crowning all our days ;
Henceforth let us live to bless Him,
Live to show His praise.
