Living

The Poet hath lost his pipe.

by Robert Herrick 1591–1674

From Hesperides (1648)

Living

Broke is my Reed, hoarse is my singing too:
My wearied Oat Ile hang upon the Tree,
And give it to the Silvan Deitie.
