Love
To Julia.
From Hesperides (1648)
Love
HOly waters hither bring
For the sacred sprinkling:
Raptize me and thee, and so
Let us to the Altar go.
And (ere we our rites commence)
Wash our hands in innocence.
Then I'le be the Rex Saerorum,
Thou the Queen of Peace and Quorum.
