by Thomas Jordan c. 1612–1685

ARt thou turn'd Fencer Sathan? prethee say?
Surely thou art not active at thy play.
Challenge a Woman? fie thou art to blame,
Suppose thou getst the day, thou getst no fame.
But prethee speake, hast any cause to prate?
Thou bruis'd her heele, what though? shee broke thy pate.
