Living

To R[otha] Q[uillinan]

by Charles Lamb 1775–1834

From The Works of Charles and Mary Lamb, IV: Poems and Plays, ed. E. V. Lucas

Living

Ought I to express thee?
Take my meaning in its flight--
Haste imports not always slight--
And believe, I bless thee.
