Love

Neither the Suns nor Frosts of Rolling Years

by Walter Savage Landor 1775–1864

From Works and Life, ed. Forster, vol. VIII (1876)

Love

Neither the suns nor frosts of rolling years
Dry up the springs or change the course of tears.
Sorrow will ever mark her stated days,
Sacred as those Religion claims for praise.
