Living

In Port, Beyond the Swell of Winds and Tides

by Walter Savage Landor 1775–1864

From Works and Life, ed. Forster, vol. VIII (1876)

Living

In port, beyond the swell of winds and tides,
My little skiff the Independence rides.
Scanty, tho' strong and hearty is her crew,
So, come aboard; she can find room for you.
