Social Commentaries

Here is a fellow who day and night parades in women's chairs — one notorious through the whole city — sleek of hair, dark with unguent, bright with purple, languishing of eye, broad of breast, smooth of shank, who often clings to your wife as an officious attendant. You need not be alarmed, Candidus: he is no practitioner.
