Quatrain 293

by Omar Khayyam 1048–1131

Translated by E. H. Whinfield (1883) · From The Quatrains (Whinfield)

Religion

And if I lacked my prayer-mats, beads, and Shaikh,
'Those Christian bells and stoles I would not scorn.
