Quatrain 450

by Omar Khayyam 1048–1131

Translated by E. H. Whinfield (1883) · From The Quatrains (Whinfield)

Religion

Calling me infidel and atheist:
My errors I will not deny, but yet
Does foul abuse become a moralist?
