From Minerva Britanna (1612)

Living

BEST BACCHVS Ivie thy faire brow befits,
Thy winges withall, that proud Gorgonean horse:
Because thou addest vigor to our wits,
Heate to our blood, vnto our bodie force:
Mirth to our heartes, vnto the dullard spright
A quick Invention, to the Sence delight.
