Book IV, 54: On PVSILLVS
From Divine Fancies (1633), Book IV
Religion
Pvsillus can be jocund, never whines
When he is full, but still, in want, repines;
And, like a bad-nos'd ound, that hunts not true,
Hee's at a Fault, if not the Game in view:
Be well advis'd Pusillus; Heav'n may chance,
To pipe no more, if thou give ore to dance.
