Love
Forget Me Not
From New Poems (1896)
Love
"Forget me not, forget me not!"
The maiden once did say,
Tien to some far-off battlefield
Her lover sped away.
"Forget me not, forget me not!"
Says now the chamber-maid,
When the traveller on his journey
Xo more will be delayed.
