Translated by Ralph T. H. Griffith (1895) · From Hymns of the Samaveda (1895)
1. For Indra, lover of carouse, loud be our songs about the juice:
Let poets sing the song of praise
2. We summon Indra to the draught, in whom all glories rest, in whom

Let our songs aid and prosper it!
