To my very good Friends Master Alexander Glouer, Mr. Iohn Rowdon, and Mr. Iohn Burges

Social Commentaries

Though Rich Pecunia (that all states commands)
In Numbers numberlesse runs through your hands:
Yet this I know, it neuer moues the minde
From goodnesse, that to goodnesse is inclinde.
And though it makes most men dishonest proue,
It cannot make your honest mindes remoue.
Then as your kindnesse vnto me assures
Your loue, so I remaine for euer yours.
