Death & Dying
On the Death of Thomas Beard, Hymn 15
From Hymns and Sacred Poems (1749) · Osborn ed., vol. 5 (1869)
Death & Dying
Jesu, my good and faithful Lord,
To Thee with confidence I fly;
I hang upon Thy changeless word,
The Truth itself can never lie;
I have the promises I claim,
Whate'er I ask in Jesu's name.
