Thanksgiving for Her Safe Delivery
From Hymns for the Use of Families, and on Various Occasions (1767) · Osborn ed., vol. 7 (1870)
Religion
Blessing, and praise, and thanks, and love
Let God, the Saviour-God receive,
Who sent the succours from above,
And bade the dying sinner live!
The bitterness of death is past,
The mortal agony is o'er j
Brought through the fire, she lives at last
To love, and wonder, and adore.
