Hymns on the Trinity, 124
From Hymns on the Trinity (1767) · Osborn ed., vol. 7 (1870)
Religion
By the Father, and the Son,
And blessed Spirit made,
God in persons three we own,
And hang upon His aid:
Reason asks, How can it be?
But who by simple faith embrace,
We shall know the mystery,
And see Him face to face.
