Hymns and Prayers to the Trinity, 38

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Hymns and Prayers to the Trinity (1767) · Osborn ed., vol. 7 (1870)

Religion

In majesty one, In glory the same
The Father and Son And Spirit we name;
One nature and essence In three we assert,
Whose personal presence Is fix'd in our heart.
The Trinity we Alone can attest,
Who cany the three And one in our breast;
Who seal'd by His Spirit And wash'd with His
blood,
In Jesus inherit The fulness of God.
