Genesis 48:16: The great redeeming Angel, Thee
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)

The great redeeming Angel, Thee,
O Jesus, I confess:
Who hast through life deliver'd me,
Thou wilt my offspring bless;
Thou that hast borne my sins away,
My children's sins remove,
And bring them through their evil day,
To sing Thy praise above.
