Faithful and True, we trust in Thee;
Thou art come down to set us free
From Pharaoh's yoke, and sin's command:
Now bring us forth, Thy chosen race.
Now in the land of promise place,
The good, and large, and pleasant land!

Good; for 'tis there our Lord we find,
And large enough for all mankind,
With honey and with milk o'erflow'd;
The land which heaven delights to bless,
The land of rest and righteousness,
The earthly paradise of God.
