Exodus 6:7: Jesus, Lord, to Thee I look
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Jesus, Lord, to Thee I look,
Crush'd by my oppressor's yoke;
From this grievous slavery
Thou alone canst set me free:
Then, and only then shall I
Thy redemption testify,
Lighten'd of my guilty load,
Know, Thou art my Lord, my God!
