Leviticus 2:11: From nature's different mixtures free
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
From nature's different mixtures free,
Honey the joy, and grief the leaven,
I bring my sacrifice to Thee,
Jesus, my great High-priest in heaven:
That God my offering may receive,
I set my heart on things above.
The sour of worldly sorrow leave.
The cloying sweets of creature-love.
