Deuteronomy 7:7, 8: The Lord did )iot set His love upon yon, &c

What angel can explain
The love of God to man,
The secret cause assign
Of charity Divine?
Nothing in us could move,
Deserve, or claim His love:
Tis all a mystery.
And must for ever be!
