Deuteronomy 18:18: I 'will raise them up a Prophet, &c
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Father, Thou hast raised Him up,
That Prophet of the Lord,
Every heart's desire and hope,
Thine own eternal Word:
In our feeble flesh array'd
We own the Filial Deity,
Jesus like His brethren made,
To make us all like Thee.
