Judges 13:12: The child whom struggling into light
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)

The child whom struggling into light
We soon expect to see,
How shall we order it aright,
And train it up for Thee?
A candidate for heaven to breed,
Alas, we know not how!
But show us at our greatest need,
Who seek direction now.
