1 Samuel 1:18: Her countenance was no more sad

Religion

Beneath a mountain-load of grief,
Subdued, submissive, and resign'd,
I find in prayer my sure relief.
Returning peace with Christ I find:
Soon as on Him I cast my care.
My care doth all at once depart,
My visage can no more declare
The sadness of a broken heart.
