Jesus, dear departing Lord,
Hang we on Thy latest word.
Us who can Thy word receive.
Fatherless Thou wilt not leave:
Though we may a moment mourn,
Yet we look for Thy return.
Now enjoy the earnest given.
Then ascend with Thee to heaven.
