Religion

Like him, I smote, engaged with sin.
Like him I follow'd not my blow
Rekindled hence the war within,
Revived again the vanquish'd foe:
But now I tvill Thy word obey,
I will pursue my victory,
And still smite on, and never stay,
Till sin is all consumed in me.
