Psalm: O give me not over unto mine oppressors
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Give me not up to Satan's power
In this my evil day.
Nor let the world or sin devour
Its unresisting prey:
Why should a soul redeem'd by Thee
Be by Thy foes oppress'd?
Jesus, proclaim the captive free,
And take me to Thy breast.
