My soul, till God His Spirit pours.
Gasps as a thirsty land for showers:
Jesus, Thy fainting follower see,
And send the gift received for me.
The promised Comforter bestow.
Let holy love my heart o'erflow,
And water'd by Thyself I rise.
Fair as Thy garden in the skies.
