Isaiah 1:13: It is iniquity, even the solemn meeting

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)

Religion

Nor once discern your present Lord;
Ye tear My flesh, and shed My blood.
And turn to bane the heavenly food.
