Isaiah 5:4: Wherefore, when I looked that it should bring, &c

Doth Christ expect what cannot be,
Good fruit out of an evil tree?
The evil tree may then be good.
And flourish, water'd by His blood;
Whoe'er the Christian faith profess
May bring forth fruits of righteousness,
And answer all their Lord's design,
As branches of the heavenly Vine.
