Isaiah 26:9: Great Author of all my desires
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Great Author of all my desires,
Thy beauty I languish to see,
My vehement spirit aspires,
And gasps to be happy in Thee!
Thee early and late I pursue,
Till caught to the mansions of light
My Jesus unclouded I view,
And heaven enjoy in the sight.
