Isaiah 60:9: Surely for Christ the isles shall wait
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Surely for Christ the isles shall wait,
And ships to bring thy sons from far:
They come from their dispersed estate.
With all they have, and all they are:
Jesus, thy Lord, the Holy One
Of Israel for their God they claim.
Who makes in thee His nature known.
His image, and His glorious name.
